BREAKING: SEKAI Trios Cup Format + Order announced!!

Today, ENSOU! TV released the tournament order and format for the SEKAI Trios Cup that will occur over the course of two days in Canada as a part of the BOLD WARRIOR INVASION excursion that will take place in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.

The tournament will feature a modified group stage double-elimination format, that on Day 1 will see the winners of the quarterfinals vie for a spot in the semifinals and give the losers of the quarterfinals get sent to an elimination bracket. The losers of the Winner's Bracket will then square off against the winners of the elimination bracket to determine the next two semifinalists. This means that at least two teams on Day 1 will have to wrestle three matches, a task that will prove to be a grueling and exhausting affair. While the six-man tag format should allow the competitors to preserve at least some energy, teams that get off to a slow start will have their work cut out for them!

On Day 2, we will view see a more standard semifinal and grand final format. However, we are pleased to announce that the grand final of the tournament will be an elimination tag match! So, this means the winning team of the tournament will have to fully and completely defeat each member of the opposing team to bring home the trophy and declare themselves the ichiban trio in all of pro-wrestling!

As far as the order of the quarterfinals, perhaps the most exciting is that the PMLL Tag Team Championship faction of the Punch Line will square off with none other than the Demon Brigade led by Demon Lord ZENKI. This is the match that pundits have circled and starred on the card. Back in Japan, the Demon Brigade team took a loss to the SHYc team of Izumi, Nakamura, and Takamori - also participating in the tournament and hoping to ride their momentum to victory - so analysts are wondering if the loss was a fluke or if this trio is simply finding its harmony as a team.

All in all, there's a lot to be excited for and a lot we just don't know yet - but the BOLD WARRIOR INVASION is no doubt to be an exciting event!
