Pollo Road offered three matches to some of the (Canadian) Thanksgiving festivities being held in Toronto on Monday night. Notable was the return of Popcorn Pollo, opposing fellow mini Puck - who seems to be a fan of the Punch Line! The two minis battled to a ten minute draw, but were said to have delighted the younger fans in attendance with their antics. Four of the five recent dojo graduates had a chance to battle as Steelhead and Red Squirrel teamed up against Pinguino and Lighthouse Jack. Steelhead earned a few cheap pops as he wore a Brampton Steelheads jersey to the ring. The tandem of Steelhead and Squirrel fell quickly to Pinguino's size, but battled back in the second fall to even things up. In the third fall, Steelhead and Pinguino brawled while Jack attempted to overpower Squirrel but the 5ft4, 145lbs Red Squirrel brought the fans to their feet as he scored with a crucifix driver to earn the W with the third fall. In the main event, the brother tandem of Electric Insanity earned a bit of payback on the Punch Line as they bested Roy Vezina and what Vezina described as his "tendy" Blue Thunder. Vezina used his normal tactics, but it was clear that Blue Thunder was green and couldn't keep up with the natural chemistry of the brothers who ended the night with a victory after Squire executed his standing moonsault slam on Thunder. Electric Insanity danced with fans to end the Pollo Road portion of the evening.
