The scene opens to Harv Norris, in all his glory, holding a selfie stick as he records himself with his phone. He’s dressed in a red and white hoodie with a big maple leaf on the front, and a little Canadian flag waves proudly in his other hand. Behind him, the bustling streets of Tokyo are alive with lights and activity. Harv’s thick Newfoundland accent is on full display as he speaks excitedly into the camera.
Harv Norris: (grinning ear to ear) “Oi, b’ys, look where ol’ Harv is at today! Tokyo, Japan, da big city! Just me, myself, and da best keychains in all o’ Canada, eh?” (he waves a bunch of maple leaf-shaped keychains with “Canada’s Best” written on them) “Figured I’d do a bit o’ sightseeing, maybe spread a bit o’ Canadian pride while I’m at it, ya know?”
(He pans the camera to show the bright neon signs, towering skyscrapers, and the sea of people crossing the famous Shibuya Crossing. Then he quickly flips it back to himself, proudly waving his little Canadian flag.)
Harv Norris: (leaning into the camera with a wink) “Now, I know what yer thinkin’—Harv, what’re ya doin’ here without da boys, eh? Well, lemme tell ya, sometimes ya just gotta get out on yer own and take in da sights! And if I can make a few yen sellin’ these beauts, all da better!”
(He turns to face a small group of locals, smiling brightly and holding out his keychains.)
Harv Norris: (gesturing with enthusiasm) “Oi, look, look! Best keychains in da world, straight from Newfoundland, Canada! You ever been to Newfoundland? No? Well, now ya can carry a piece of it with ya!”
(The locals look at him curiously, some smiling politely but clearly having no idea what he’s saying. Harv laughs heartily, undeterred by the language barrier.)
Harv Norris: (chuckling as he stuffs the keychains back in his pocket) “Ah, no worries, no worries! I’ll find a buyer yet! It’s all about da hustle, b’y!”
(Harv wanders over to Tokyo Tower and positions his selfie stick just right, trying to get the whole tower in the frame with him. After a few awkward attempts, he finally gets the angle he wants and snaps a selfie.)
Harv Norris: (holding up the phone to the camera with a big grin) “Look at dat! Tokyo Tower an’ me, eh? I’m basically a tour guide at this point! Might just start my own travel blog—‘Harv Norris, World Explorer!’”
(He continues his journey, stopping in front of various landmarks like the Meiji Shrine, and posing with the Hachiko statue.)
Harv Norris: (giving Hachiko a little pat on the head) “Oi, good dog, eh? Ya ever had a moose burger, bud? Ya’d love it!”
(He snaps a few more selfies and waves his little Canadian flag, drawing some amused looks from passersby. Finally, he finds a small park and sits down on a bench, holding the selfie stick close as he leans in to speak to his viewers.)
Harv Norris: (in a more serious, heartfelt tone) “Ya know, it’s pretty wild bein’ here, halfway across da world, representin’ da Punch Line. Rick and Roy, dey’re back at da hotel restin’ up for da matches, but I figured, why not take a little time to see da world, eh? I mean, how often does a guy from Newfoundland get to be in Tokyo, sellin’ keychains and wavin’ flags, eh?”
(He gives a little chuckle and waves the flag again.)
Harv Norris: “But I’ll tell ya what, no matter where we go, we’re always bringin’ a bit o’ Canada with us. An’ when we get in dat ring here in Japan, we’re showin’ ‘em what da Punch Line is all about, eh? Now if only I could get someone to buy a keychain…”
(He glances around the park, spotting a couple of tourists nearby, and quickly jumps up to make his pitch, phone still in hand as he jogs over.)
Harv Norris: (calling out as he approaches) “Oi, ya like Canada? Got some keychains straight from da motherland, b’y! Only a few yen, it’s a steal!”
(The tourists look confused but amused as Harv laughs heartily, even as they politely decline. He shrugs it off and turns back to the camera with a grin.)
Harv Norris: (with a wink) “Eh, can’t win ‘em all, but ya gotta try, right? Anyway, dat’s it for today’s tour, b’ys! Stay tuned for da next edition o’ ‘Harv’s Adventures in Japan’! We’ll see if I can sell at least one keychain, eh?”
(He waves his little flag one last time and gives a thumbs up to the camera before stopping the recording. The video ends with Harv’s laughter echoing through the park, as he continues to enjoy his solo adventure in Japan.)
