Henry Yamazaki & AJ Knight vs. SANGRE & NEXUS
1 Fall - 15 Minute Time Limit
The bell sounds and we start things off with Henry Yamazaki against NEXUS. The two men size up well at least vertically, Yamazaki's 6'4" to NEXUS' 6'3". The man formerly known as Mushigihara outweighs his opponent by fifty pounds however. Yamazaki gives NEXUS a shove, prompting SANGRE to step in between the ropes but referee Gideon Dube gets him back on the apron with a little assistance from Dr. Victor Turing. NEXUS hammers Yamazaki with a shot, staggering the God-Beast. NEXUS tries to set him up for an Irish whip, but gets reversed. NEXUS hits the ropes and rebounds off, the two men collide in the centre of the ring but neither one moves. Yamazaki plants his feet and dares NEXUS to come forward and the so-called AI wrestler does just that. Yamazaki and NEXUS tussle for position before Yamazaki trips his opponent, placing his leg across NEXUS' knee and flips him to the mat to complete the nichonage. Yamazaki makes a quick cover!

2-NO!
Yamazaki gets swatted at by SANGRE, prompting him to turn around and brandish a fist. SANGRE ducks instinctively and the God-Beast just bellows out a laugh, leaving the Snake stewing. NEXUS begins to get back up, but AJ Knight is tagged in for his team. Knight comes in and immediately applies a side headlock, NEXUS remains calm and collected as you'd expect from someone who is purportedly AI, and backs AJ into the ropes before shooting him off. Knight ducks an attack and goes right back to... a side headlock. Knight trash talks Dr. Victor Turing before taking NEXUS to the mat with a headlock takedown, but NEXUS is quick to roll to his side and start his ascent back up. AJ transitions into a hammerlock, then an arm wringer and finally a snapmare. AJ tries to apply a chinlock, but NEXUS acts quickly to get to the ropes. Dr. Victor Turing checks his tablet and seems pleased with what he sees. He presses on the tablet and NEXUS makes a tag to Sangre, who sneers at AJ Knight as he climbs through the ropes.
The ENSOU TV Sports Lightning Cup tournament winner, SANGRE shows a bit of fatigue as he circles around. Rightfully so, having competed in-ring for nearly seventy five minutes the past few days then having to make the flight from Japan back to the United States. Knight did too, but the Crusader wound up not having to compete due to some weight scale shenanigans. All of that is to say that between the two tired fighters, AJ Knight is without a doubt the fresher man but SANGRE's great tournament victory may have him on an adrenaline high that may not have faded yet. SANGRE clamps on a side headlock and really cranks it in, prompting AJ Knight to deliver a forearm to the side of the body. AJ backs him into the ropes and shoots him off, but much like NEXUS and Yamazaki - the two smaller men in this match collide in the centre of the ring and neither moves! The South Bend crowd loves it!
SANGRE lets out a battle cry as he raises his arms, but AJ simply slaps him. SANGRE gets right in his face as AJ smirks, then takes SANGRE to the mat with a double leg takedown. AJ tries to work a hold, but SANGRE peppers him with palm strikes from the bottom and AJ returns the shots with some forearms of his own! The crowd roars as AJ clocks SANGRE with a good one, but the former Pollo sweeps him in the process and begins alternating shots to the head and body now that he's on top. SANGRE gets a bit too overzealous and AJ sweeps him in short order, but SANGRE wriggles out from underneath and both return to a vertical base trading shots. SANGRE executes a knee to the midsection and doubles AJ over, grabbing him and sending him into the ropes. SANGRE tries to scoop him up, but AJ slips out the back door and twirls around...
ROLLING ELBOW!
He covers!

3-NO!
The crowd is aghast! They thought it was three! SANGRE tries to roll away, but AJ keeps a hold of him and reaches over for a tag to Henry Yamazaki. The big Hawaiian comes in and tries to pull SANGRE to his feet, but the wild Mexican shoves both hands around Yamazaki's big neck and begins choking him! Yamazaki falls back against the ropes as SANGRE shrieks at him, referee Gideon Dube counts to four and SANGRE releases but tries to go right back to it. Dube gets in between and holds him back as Knight asks Yamazaki if he's good, but the God-Beast can only respond with a nod through the struggle to regain his breath. SANGRE comes back in and kicks Yamazaki in the stomach, doubling him over. SANGRE grabs him and shoves him down onto the middle rope, then puts his knee on the back of his neck to drive his throat down with the middle rope. SANGRE stands up and figure fours his legs around Yamazaki's neck and the ropes, prompting another five count... that he releases at four. Dube reprimands him as Knight tries to get Yamazaki to exit the ring, but the God-Beast refuses!
SANGRE angrily tags in NEXUS and goes to the apron, crouches down and begins taking some deep breaths. NEXUS grabs Yamazaki off the ropes and hoists him up... Algorithmic Slam! The body slam shakes the mat and the ring apron on all four sides shoots up into the air. NEXUS hooks the leg on a lateral press.

NO!
NEXUS pulls Yamazaki up as he returns to his feet, guiding the God-Beast up with him. He applies a front chancery... but Yamazaki slips out!
HE HOISTS NEXUS UP... GORILLA PRESS!
The crowd is amazed as the 6'3" / 245lbs NEXUS is made to look like an easy pick-up, but Yamazaki gets a little cocky and tries to rep him and NEXUS slips back down to his feet. Yamazaki turns around into a fireman's carry! The crowd pops as NEXUS holds the 6'4" / 294lbs Yamazaki on his shoulders momentarily... and then whether intentional or not, NEXUS drops to a knee and dumps him to the mat. NEXUS sprints to the ropes and comes back with a knee strike as Yamazaki attempts to get back up! Yamazaki hits the ropes, breaking his fall. NEXUS shoots him out with an Irish whip, but Yamazaki ducks NEXUS' attack and hits the ropes...
OG!
Baba's neckbreaker drop lives on through the former MAX Heavyweight Champion! AJ reaches over, trying to get into the match as Sangre is doing the same on the other side. NEXUS is much closer and SANGRE gets in just before Yamazaki can get to AJ, prompting SANGRE to taunt the Crusader. SANGRE leads Yamazaki to a neutral corner and knees him several times, then dashes across the ring...
HE CHARGES IN...
NO ONE HOME!
AJ and the crowd are calling for the tag as Yamazaki struggles to crawl to him. SANGRE recovers from his heap and throws all of himself on top of Yamazaki to prevent the tag from being made. Yamazaki covers up as SANGRE bombards him with knees, Knight dashes across the apron and lariats SANGRE! Knight grabs Yamazaki through the ropes and dumps him out to the floor to make himself the legal man. SANGRE also rolls out just as Knight is about to get him. AJ delivers some choice words, forgetting about NEXUS who grabs AJ from behind in a Dragon sleeper! AJ tries to fight out of it, attacking NEXUS with his knees. SANGRE slips into the ring and tries to grab the legs, but gets kicked away in the process. AJ delivers another knee and breaks free, then spins around and throws NEXUS forward just as SANGRE comes roaring back...
AND HITS NEXUS BY MISTAKE!
NEXUS looks confused, then his LEDs change colour and SANGRE tries to beg off but he gets grabbed and pulled into a thunderous bodyslam! SANGRE goes down as Dr. Victor Turing tries to re-calibrate his client. AJ cautiously watches as NEXUS exits the ring while SANGRE gets to all fours...
AJ GRABS HIM AND PLANTS HIM WITH A DDT!
He rolls him on his back!

SANGRE lays looking at the lights as AJ Knight rolls out and gets grabbed by Yamazaki, the duo raise their arms as NEXUS stands outside the ring - seemingly logged off. Dr. Victor Turing examines his tablet as Knight and Yamazaki head to the back. Turing cautiously slips into the ring and checks on SANGRE, who rolls onto his side and questions what happened. Turing begins to give him an explanation, repeatedly pointing to his tablet as SANGRE climbs to his feet... grabs the tablet and throws it out of the ring onto the ground! The crowd oohs as it shatters and Dr. Victor Turing is left speechless! NEXUS remains stationery, his LED lights and displays all blank. SANGRE grabs Turing by the shirt and utters some threats, then releases him before rolling out... he contemplates attacking NEXUS but stops, chuckles and walks off to the back leaving Dr. Victor Turing standing inside the ring.
Intermission
During the intermission, fans had the chance to meet some of their Pollo Road favourites up close. Fighters such as Lynx, Orville Newton, AJ Knight, Henry Yamazaki took photos and signed autographs, chatting up the fans. NEXUS was scheduled to participate in these activities and did, but fans could only pose alongside his immobilized frame for photos.
Jeremy Squire & Crazy Boy vs. Harv Norris & Rick Hull
1 Fall - 15 Minute Time Limit
The important story of this one is that Harv Norris and Rick Hull are well rested while Jeremy Squire and Crazy Boy just landed back in the United States mere hours earlier from Japan, having competed for Maximum Japan Pro-Wrestling's CRUISERWORLD II event where they unsuccessfully challenged their former stablemate Jin Hirai and his partner, Hayato Hamada for the World Jr. Heavyweight Tag titles - a near 20 minute affair. How much sleep and general rest these two have had is unknown, but they look all fired up as they dance down to the ring to "Queso" by Pell. Slapping hands with fans and stopping to dance in the aisle with fans who want to bust a move. Each of them remove their MAX-J shirts and toss them into the ring as the Punch Line theme interrupts, causing an eruption of boos from the outdoor crowd. Harv Norris and Rick Hull walk out from the back with two flags - a Canadian flag and a University of Notre Dame flag, which gets a pop... until the duo use it to wipe the summer sweat off each other's face! Hull gets in the camera and tells it they had those towels all over the place today, so they're loading them up in the trunk and driving 'em back to Canada! The Punch Line get in the ring and wave the Canadian flag, while the crowd gets hot with their USA chants!
The chants die down, but the crowd is still all fired up and the Punch Line are seemingly existing to cool them off as Rick Hull backs away from Jeremy Squire and decides to take a walk outside the ring. Crazy Boy leaps off the apron and heads toward him, prompting the rookie of the Punchies to roll back inside and yell at referee Ted Thomas to "control that pipsqueak!" which gets some return fire from Crazy Boy - something about Hully's mother! Hull is livid, trying to head after Crazy who starts dancing and antagonizing Hull from the apron. Thomas has to physically restrain Hull, but the Punch Line's youngest member manages to elude him and walks right into a forearm smash from Jeremy Squire! Thomas shrugs and signals for the bell as Hull is sent reeling, seeking refuge in the Punch Line's corner from partner Harv Norris. Norris pats Hull on the back, making a tag but assures him they'll call Rick's mother after the match! Squire claims she'll be busy and does some hip thrusting as the crowd eats it up! Hull tries to get after him but Norris forces him out to the apron and sticks his finger up in Squire's face, but gets it swatted away. Norris comes back with a kick to the midsection and grabs hold of Squire's arm, twisting it around but Squire rolls forward and pops back up, twisting it in reverse to apply the hold on Norris! He walks over and tags in his little brother, Crazy Boy who ascends the turnbuckles as Squire wrings in the hold again... Crazy leaps off and drives all of his body weight down on the arm as Norris hits his knees, crying out in pain as he grabs his shoulder.
With some seconds to spare before he's forced back to the apron, Squire directs Norris to the corner and strikes him with a European uppercut. He quickly drops down on all fours and Crazy Boy sprints in and nearly takes the Newfie's head off with some poetry in motion! Crazy exits to the floor making Squire the legal man again and he quickly stops Norris from falling out of the corner, leaping onto the second rope and then placing his feet on his thighs...
MONKEY FLIP!
Norris lands hard on the mat but finds his way back to his feet...
DROPKICK!
Squire's beautiful standing dropkick sends Norris flailing backwards and out to the floor! Hull jumps back into the action and attacks Squire from behind. With Squire on his knees, Hull yanks him back up and delivers a knife edge chop that echoes down the city streets. Hull grabs Squire by the head and doubles him over, firing into him with the Kawada kicks! Squire falls to all fours, taking refuge in the ropes. Thomas comes to intercept so that Hull doesn't continue the attack, but draws the ire of Harv Norris as he gets back on the apron. Norris succeeds in drawing Thomas' attention away from the action momentarily and Hull uses that to grab Squire...
AND CHOPS HIM IN THE THROAT!
Squire goes down coughing, gasping for air as Hull turns and plays to the crowd - soaking in the boos like he was doing that the whole time. Thomas turns around and questions what happened, but Hull plays dumb and Norris backs him up. Thomas shakes his head and checks on Squire, who grabs the ropes to get up again as Hull tags Norris back in. Norris makes a big show of telling Squire to get back up, knowing full well the dancing fool is struggling to regain his regular breathing pattern after that cheap shot. Norris grabs him and puts him back first against the ropes, tucking his arms over the top rope... then unleashes a mighty knife edge chop! You can nearly hear Squire swallow the South Bend air as the chop lands just below his throat. Squire falls to the mat and reaches out for his little brother, which Norris mocks - stepping on Squire's lower back, then leaping up and driving his body down onto it before applying a camel clutch! He trash talks Crazy Boy, repeatedly calling him "lil bro" as the crowd starts to rally behind Squire at Crazy's request - slapping the top turnbuckle repeatedly. Hull tries to get in, but Thomas acts quickly to keep him out and Norris starts choking Squire. Thomas comes back and stops Crazy Boy from entering, who's trying to protest about Norris using the illegal choke! Norris does it again as Thomas is telling Crazy Boy "OK, just get back on the apron - I'll deal with it!" as Hull jumps back in and grabs Squire's legs, pulling him back closer to the Punch Line corner.
The South Bend fans are loud with their Squire chants as Crazy Boy is going... well, crazy! Leaping up and down on the apron... Squire starts fighting back to his feet and Norris tries to piggyback him, keeping all the weight on the upper body... but Squire falls back and Norris crashes into his corner! Hull tags himself in and trips through the ropes, Squire dives forward for a tag but comes up short - getting caught by Hull's grab! Squire hobbles on one leg and tries for an enzuigiri, but Hull ducks...
BUT SQUIRE HITS HIM WITH A HOOK KICK!
HULL GOES DOWN! HULL GOES DOWN!
Squire narrowly avoids Norris diving to grab his leg and tags in Crazy Boy, who leaps into the ring and double stomps Norris' back! He grabs the recovering Rick Hull and bulldogs him down onto Norris' head - a meeting of the minds on the mat! Hull comes up to his knees and Crazy dropkicks him! Hull's torso folds on top of his knees as Crazy Boy exits to the apron, grabs the top rope and leaps up...
SPRINGBOARD 450 ON A FOLDED IN HALF RICK HULL!
Crazy Boy motions for the Locomotion, the 630 Splash - wanting to inflict more pain on the Punch Line. He leaps onto the top rope and steadies himself, waiting for Rick Hull to stay still as he attempts to recuperate from the 450...
630 SPLASH!
MISSES!
Crazy Boy lands hard, but gets up and tries to find his older brother... Norris knees Crazy Boy from behind - knocking him into Squire for the tag, but Squire hits the floor and Crazy is legal once more! Thomas quickly checks on Squire from over the ropes and that's enough time for a kick to the groin from Norris! Crazy Boy crumples and Hull staggers up and hits a 85% Super Gordie, elbow to the back of the head! Hull covers and Norris jumps on top for added support...

3!
The fans boo as the Punch Line theme kicks back on, frustrated by the former champions cheating to beat the remaining two members of WAG1 once again. The Punchies regroup in the ring, embracing with a hug as Norris ruffles Hull's hair. The two were about to leave when they saw Crazy Boy starting to get back up. They changed their mind and began attacking him! Jeremy Squire slid into the ring and evened the odds momentarily, but they double teamed him as well! The fans roared to life as the Leprechaun mascot of their University bounced out from the back and called for a charge!
LYNX AND ORVILLE NEWTON!
The two masked fan favourites dove into the ring and pummelled the Punch Line, allowing Crazy Boy and Squire to recover and send the Punch Line packing! The four fan favourite all shook hands and shared in a hug, then invited the Leprechaun into the ring. Crazy Boy took the house mic and said that he and his bro might be out of title contention for a bit, but they're down to take something else that means a lot to the Punch Line - THEIR FLOW! The fans excitedly cheered at the prospect of that match, but quieted down as Squire took the mic. He said he would've rather had a W tonight, but they're going to finish the evening the way you always should...
BY DANCING!
The live band fired up and Newton did the robot, Lynx walked like an Egyptian and Crazy Boy busted out some breakdancing while Squire gyrated to the rhythm. The Leprechaun even got down with the guys! The Punch Line looked disgusted in the aisle and got out of there! The fans danced along as the show closed out.
