*The camera opens to an empty arena, the ring standing silent and ready for the next battle. Veteran interviewer Sam Hewitt stands at ringside with a microphone in hand, ready to conduct an exclusive interview. Beside him stands "Mr. Canada" Roy Vezina, visibly frustrated but determined after his recent match.*
Sam Hewitt: Ladies and gentlemen, I’m here with "Mr. Canada" Roy Vezina, who recently competed for the King of Iron title against Kalidah. Roy, thank you for joining me.
Roy Vezina: (nodding, his anger barely contained) Yeah, let’s get this done, Sam.
Sam Hewitt: Roy, you faced Kalidah in a hard-fought match for the King of Iron Championship. Despite your best efforts, you came up short. Can you take us through your thoughts on the match?
Roy Vezina: (taking a deep breath) You know, Sam, I went into that match ready to give it everything I had. Kalidah is no joke, but neither am I. I brought the fight to him, and there were moments when I thought I had him. But he’s a crafty one, and I’ll give him credit where it’s due. He got the better of me this time, but I’m not done. Not by a long shot.
Sam Hewitt: It was evident that you gave it your all. What do you think was the turning point in the match?
Roy Vezina: (frowning) There were a few, but that damn mandible claw at the end was the nail in the coffin. I had him with that flying elbow drop, but Kalidah somehow found the strength to turn it around. And let’s not forget the early damage he did. I was bleeding, dazed, but I kept fighting. That’s what I do.
Sam Hewitt: You’ve mentioned before that you weren’t happy with how Duke handled the Ryan Samuels situation. How do you feel about the management’s decisions now, especially regarding your title shot?
Roy Vezina: (intensely) Look, Sam, I still think Duke mishandled the Ryan Samuels situation. But giving me a title shot was a step in the right direction. We need a champion who represents what this promotion stands for, and I aim to be that champion. Kalidah may have beaten me this time, but I’ll be back. And when I win that title, Duke and I will need to have a serious talk. A promotion is only as good as its champion, and I’m the best option they’ve got.
Sam Hewitt: What’s next for you and The Punch Line after this tough loss?
Roy Vezina: (determined) This isn’t the end, Sam. It’s just a setback. The Punch Line is still focused on gold. Whether it’s the King of Iron title or any other championship, we’re coming for it. I’ll be back, stronger and smarter. Kalidah, you haven’t seen the last of me.
Sam Hewitt: Any final words for Kalidah and the fans watching?
Roy Vezina: (looking directly into the camera) Kalidah, you may have won this battle, but the war is far from over. Enjoy that title while you can, because I’m coming back for it. And to everyone watching, know this – "Mr. Canada" never quits. I’ll be back, and I’ll be better than ever. Count on it.
Sam Hewitt: Thank you, Roy. There you have it, folks – "Mr. Canada" Roy Vezina, determined and ready to come back stronger. Stay tuned for more from Pollo Road.
*The camera fades out, capturing the image of Roy Vezina standing strong and resolute, his eyes set firmly on the future battles ahead.*
