The evening's opener was a ten minute chess game as "The Brains" attempted to figure out Dr. Victor Turing's alleged AI creation. While NEXUS executed many of his moves with precision, Orville Newton was able to exploit some bugs which got Dr. Turing looking frustrated. In the closing moments of the match, Newton secured an arm and forced NEXUS down to the mat in the Le Guin Lock (Lebell Lock) and after a solid minute in the hold, Turing threw in the towel! Surprised, the Saginaw crowd booed and Newton questioned the Doctor... who muttered a response but shook Newton's hand and thanked him for testing his machine.
SANGRE made his first in-ring appearance after being unmasked, squaring off against Lion's Road alumni Firefly. After catching SANGRE off guard in the opening moments and putting up a good effort, Firefly soon fell victim to SANGRE's anger and the fearsome face painted fighter lit him up with strikes. Firefly came back briefly, but SANGRE dodged an aerial attack and clamped on the chickenwing/face claw combo and won by tapout. SANGRE looked ready to continue the attack, but officials convinced him to leave.
In the main event, WAG1 was a man short due to Jin Hirai being in Japan for Maximum Japan Pro-Wrestling related activities. Crazy Boy asked the crowd if they knew anyone... and Jeremy Squire said he had just the guy! He sprinted backstage and then emerged again - "Me Against the World" by Simple Plan hit to a roar from the crowd as AJ Knight walked out and agreed to team with old friend Jeremy Squire and his younger brother, Crazy Boy. The ensuing Triangle Survival was a wild spotfest with all three teams coming very close to eliminating each other all through the match. As the WAG1/AJ trio battled Kalidah and the Herkmen while the Punch Line were out of commission, the tandem of Norris and Hull stormed back and yanked Nizbel from the battle as Roy Vezina worked to distract them. Norris and Hull delivered the powerbomb/lungblower combo they've started calling the Five Minute Major. With the Herkmen and Kalidah out, the action became a little more controlled and this suited AJ Knight just fine as his partners executed their roles to perfection - taking out Vezina and Norris while Knight scored with a DDT and the 1-2-3! Crazy Boy and Jeremy Squire danced in the ring and tried their hardest to get AJ Knight to do it too, but he refused. After they left, Roy Vezina took the microphone and called Saginaw a loser town and claimed the Spirit only won the Memorial Cup because they had a series to rest! The fans booed, but cheered when WAG1 came running back out and chased the Punch Line off. They danced again to close the show.
