A special event has been announced for 4/1 in Hamilton, Ontario - "FOOL'S GOLD". The event will not be streamed or televised, but instead be filmed so the footage can be shown at a later date. Matchmaker Duke Womack confirmed rumours that a big debut will occur on this show, but declined to give any hints. He also added that a 20 man over-the-top battle royal and the cruiserweight title clash between MEZA and Nizbel will occur. Womack stated the winner of the FOOL'S GOLD battle royal will receive a coin and the fighter will make his call - a correct guess grants them a title shot while an incorrect guess... well, you'll have to wait and find out.
Although information is hard to come by, Matt Pulver is said to be undergoing concussion protocol and given his history, the Swedish fighter is being given as much time as he needs to recuperate. So Pulver will not be in action or attendance on 4/1.
Maximum Japan Pro-Wrestling (MAX) has confirmed it will be sending three fighters to compete in the battle royal, the identities of which will be revealed in a MAX news release in the coming week.
Confirmed for the battle royal already are: AJ Knight, Lynx, Orville Newton, Jin Hirai, Crazy Boy, Jeremy Squire, Ultimo Pollo IV, Kalidah, Azalo, Sangre de Pollo, Roy Vezina, Harv Norris, Rick Hull, Devlin Masters, the three MAX Japan representatives and three further mystery fighters.
