1. Ultimo Pollo IV beat Devlin Masters by pinfall in 9:00 with a jackknife hold. 2. Sangre de Pollo beat Orville Newton by tapout submission in 6:49 with a chickenwing claw hold.
3. El Cerdo Mostaza, Jin Hirai [W], Crazy Boy & Jeremy Squire beat Harv Norris, Rick Hull [L], Azalo & Nizbel by pinfall in 13:23 with a Ranhei.
The reactions for the two fighters in the opening bout couldn't have been more different as UP4 got lots of cheers while Masters received plenty of jeers. This match lived up to the lightning bout name as they sprinted from bell to bell, impressing the Kingston crowd. UP4 spent much of the match soaring through the air, dominating a disoriented Masters. After a missed springboard somersault leg drop, UP4 found himself in trouble as Masters tried to go for the piledriver... but Pollo backdropped him and scored with a jackknife pin!
In a battle of stand-up vs. submissions, Sangre de Pollo's experience edge allowed him to dominate "The Brains" for most of the bout, keeping him at bay with a plethora of leg and push kicks. Even when Newton was able to catch the kicks, Sangre was able to kick him away with ease. The crowd was quick to get behind each of Newton's comeback attempts and came unglued when he caught a kick, tripped Sangre to the mat and hit him with a Billy Robinson-style kneebreaker! Sangre tried to scramble back to his feet, but Newton shot in for a takedown. Sangre stuffed it, transitioned to back mount and clamped on Ala y Garra! The chickenwing/face claw combo! Newton tapped out and Sangre threw him to the mat, stomped on his back and paraded around the ring like he just won a title! Despite the loss, the crowd showed love to Orville Newton as he left the ring.
The crowd was excited about the main event with El Cerdo Mostaza and WAG1 both receiving big pops on their walkouts. Despite his eye injury earlier in the month, El Cerdo Mostaza seemed good to go - but the opposing side did their best to limit his time in the ring. Brothers Squire and Crazy Boy battled Azalo and Nizbel in much of the early stages of the match, wearing each other down with some crazy sequences. Hirai came in and took the youngsters Norris and Hull to school, but the numbers game became too much as two thirds of the tag champions used quick tags to gain the upper hand. As Hirai finally made the tag to big El Cerdo Mostaza, the Punch Line cleared out and huddled up with the Herkmen. Becoming utterly confused as they tried to strat up, they weren't privy to the fact that Crazy Boy volunteered to be launched by Mostaza from the inside to the out and took out all four! Hirai and Squire grabbed the Punch Line and chucked them inside the ring. Mostaza grabbed Harv Norris in a rear waist hold as he tried to scurry away, Rick Hull grabbed his partners' hands and tried to pull him to safety but two thirds of the tag champions were suplexed across the ring by the mighty Mostaza! The crowd roared with approval as Mostaza taunted, then left the ring after Norris. Hirai slid in and scored with the Jin n' Tonic (Ranhei) on Hull to secure the win for their team.
In the post match, Roy Vezina emerged and kept a safe distance away from El Cerdo Mostaza. He took the house microphone and explained that matchmaker Duke Womack told him to call his shot, so he's going to - a Shootout at Spring Chicken on 3/11! El Cerdo Mostaza will have to beat both Harv Norris and Rick Hull in back to back bouts in order to get him one on one that same night. Mostaza growled and accepted the challenge. Vezina laughed and said that was great because if he loses... he's out of Pollo Road! The crowd booed and left Vezina scowling with chants of "CERDO'S GONNA KILL YOU!" to close out the show.
