The first Drive Thru event began with a lightning match between youngsters Orville Newton and Rick Hull. The urgency wasn't lost on Hull, who came in looking for a knockout but Newton was able to withstand the flurries of offense and neutralize him when needed. With just under three minutes left in the bout, Newton caught Hull in the Spock Lock and submitted the Punch Line rookie. Newton extended his hand after the match, but Hull told him this wasn't the playoffs!
The veterans had a full fifteen minute time limit to work with in the second match as Lynx and Jin Hirai squared off in singles action for the first time ever. What began slowly with a lot of mat work, gradually increased in intensity as Hirai got under Lynx's skin. Lynx's anger was unleashed as Hirai ate a handful of butterfly style suplexes before cranking on a butterfly hold, which was unfortunately too close to the ropes - allowing Hirai to put his foot on the bottom one. Lynx grabbed Hirai in a rear waist hold and hauled him to his feet, but an elbow created separation and a kick doubled Lynx over. A corkscrew heel kick followed and Hirai school boy'd a staggered Lynx, holding a handful of trunks as he scored the three in what many what label as an upset!
A definite upset occurred in the main event as WAG1's Crazy Boy and Jeremy Squire sent Los Pollos' title aspirations packing just five minutes in. The action was frenetic with the automatic tags occurring at a dizzying pace, Sangre de Pollo and Ultimo Pollo IV cleaned house of the Herkmen and turned away the incoming attack of the Punch Line - Ultimo Pollo IV then scaled the turnbuckles and took out everyone on the outside! Crazy Boy caught an unsuspecting Sangre de Pollo with a missile dropkick, sending him veering across the ring. Jeremy Squire pummelled Sangre with kicks to the body, finishing it off with a spinning back kick to the face which obviously hurt (Sangre is still recovering from a broken nose at the hands of David Troy, after all). With Sangre stunned, Squire scored with his C4-style moonsault slam - the Cybersault! Ultimo was just too late on the save, missing by inches. As WAG1 celebrated like they'd already won the belts, Los Pollos got into a verbal argument in Spanish that ended with Sangre throwing his hands up and leaving by himself. The three remaining teams battled it out until the Herkmen eliminated WAG1 in twelve minutes, Azao scoring with his somersault cutter - Into Darkness - on Crazy Boy. This left the Herkmen opposite of the Punch Line and when given the choice between spooky goblins and hockey jocks, the Marquette crowd sided with the hockey boys! A melee broke out with Azalo and Vezina squaring off while Nizbel and Norris battled. Tubby Thomas called for backup and Gideon Dube ran down to help as the referees separated the two brawls and restored order to a chorus of boos. Azalo and Nizbel isolated the newcomer Norris, taking turns roughing him up. Norris however got back into the match with a "Gordie Elbow" - nailing Nizbel as he tried to drag Norris over to Azalo in the corner. Norris scrambled and made the tag, Vezina came in and got the Marquette crowd rocking as he body checked both Azalo and Nizbel! Norris grabbed Azalo and draped him over the top rope, Vezina then bounced off the ropes and leapt over with a body guillotine! Azalo groaned in pain and fell out of the ring, leaving Nizbel to eat a powerbomb/backstabber combination and the pin!
In the post match, Roy Vezina took the microphone and thanked the crowd for their support and in appreciation, he was going to sing the national anthem of the greatest nation in the world - CANADA! The crowd boo'd as he began, but WAG1 emerged from the back and cleaned them out of there! Orville Newton avoided the skirmish as security got the six brawling men to the back, taking the microphone as he got into the ring. Newton stated that it didn't matter if you were American or Canada, that November 11th was Remembrance Day in Canada and Veteran's Day in the United States. He read a poem and thanked the fans for coming as "USA!" chants echoed throughout the hall.
