Nice pops for the "lesser' Pollos!

Huge pop!

The huge pop continues for the home state boy as Troy tells him it's his moment and he'll start the match.

Tubby doesn't get his traditional pop as the crowd is still ape over AJ.  The match begins with a collar-and-elbow tie-up between AJ Knight and Ultimo Pollo IV.  AJ, the former World's Champion goes behind and obtains a waisthold, lifts up the luchador and crashes him into the mat with a takedown.  From there, AJ takes an arm and tries to apply an arm wringer but Ultimo reverses the direction to relieve the pressure... only to get reversed again! Ultimo Pollo IV nods then rolls forward, stands up, reverses the arm wringer again! Ultimo uses the leverage to swing his legs up, apply the headscissors and drags AJ to the mat and hooks a leg!

1-NO!

AJ gets up, half impressed and half annoyed.  The two lock-up again, AJ goes behind with a hammerlock but Ultimo grabs the back of Knight's head and shows off some incredible athleticism as he nearly turns himself upside down and comes back down - a flying mare! AJ goes rolling across the ring and pops up, Ultimo goes for a dropkick but AJ holds onto the ropes and applauds his own actions as Pollo rolls back to his knees. The Erie crowd eats it up!

The crowd boos as AJ tags in David Troy and Ultimo tags in Sangre de Pollo.  Both men boasting similar styles with their striking backgrounds and lucharesu influences.  The two men circle around, sizing one another up but it's Sangre de Pollo who strikes first - he fakes a collar-and-elbow tie-up and European uppercuts Troy! Sangre runs up and grabs the head of the staggered Troy, then plants both feet on his thighs and whips him across the ring with a monkey flip! Troy lands on his feet - he falls to his knees, but twenty years of pro-wrestling will do that to you.  He gets up and his attack is sidestepped by Sangre, who goes behind and tries to backdrop Troy... but Troy gets himself sat back down on his feet and bulldogs Sangre instead!

Troy attacks the legs of Sangre as he gets back up, knocking him back down on all fours a couple of times.  Troy even mixes in a few slaps to the face, teasing the bull so to speak.  Ultimo yells to Sangre in Spanish, which we can only assume is "keep your cool" or something to that effect.  Good luck with that says Shelzi.  Troy drags Sangre back to his feet and executes the Kazama Special, the side headlock spun into a hammerlock and then a drop toe hold.  Troy tries to leap up into a double stomp to the back, but Sangre moves and Troy lands on his feet... but the Dark Chicken grabs him in a chickenwing and tries to apply the claw! Troy backs Sangre into the ropes, Ultimo makes a blind tag and Troy sends Sangre de Pollo rolling forward and right out of the ring.  Ultimo leaps onto the top rope and walks across the ropes, launching off and turning in mid-air to hurracanrana Troy!

AJ BREAKS IT UP!

Ultimo attacks AJ, but Troy returns the favour! He grabs Ultimo and a few clinch-style knees follow it up.  He backs up and AJ tags in, but Troy pivots and facebusters Ultimo in the middle of the ring.  AJ quickly moves to apply a front chancery and Troy delivers a double stomp to the lower back of Ultimo! AJ pulls Ultimo up and immediately snaps him back down, working more damage into the back.  AJ gets up and slaps on a single leg crab, drawing a small smattering of CHRENSHAW~! chants.  Sangre comes in from behind, but steps around and just wallops AJ with a kick to break his partner free of the hold.  Troy gets back in the ring and takes Sangre to the mat with a kick to the hamstring! He boots him back out to the floor as AJ drags Ultimo into the corner and calls out to Troy.  Troy takes a stand at the opposite side of their corner and AJ uncharacteristically goes to the top rope, but he takes a seat behind Ultimo - holding the mask for leverage as he's being forced to stand in the corner.  Ultimo struggles as Troy comes running in, but AJ's grip comes free with a mask in hand! Troy's kick hits AJ and knocks him to the floor! Ultimo rolls out too, now maskless.  Sangre de Pollo leaps onto the apron and mists Troy with the Niebla de Sangre! Troy falls to the mat and Sangre climbs inside, hits the ropes and BOOM! goes Dynamite as La Pierna de Pollo hits! Sangre covers!

The replay is shown and Sangre's blood mist blinds Troy while he's hung up, which in turn makes him all the more susceptible to the vicious running knee strike that finishes him off for the three count! AJ is livid, yelling at Thomas to look at the mist on Troy's face... but Thomas reminds AJ that he has to see it to call it! AJ shakes his head as he grabs a towel, telling him it's bullshit.  He sprays water into the towel and rubs it on Troy's face, trying to alleviate the pain and blindness that his ally is feeling.

AJ is shouting at Sangre as he returns the mask back to Ultimo, but Sangre only flips him off in response. 

We get horns! A full fledged orchestra comes out and begins playing the Pollo Bucket theme before El Cerdo Mostaza comes bursting out from the back. 

Re-hydrate Mostaza did, the big man looks to have shed some weight but nowhere near the 120lbs that his 200lbs weigh-in claimed. 

Mostaza roars into the ring and chases Marvelle outta there.  A few Pollo Buckets are tossed aside, spilling chicken at ringside - as fans reach over the rail to grab pieces.  "Ecstasy of Gold" is played by the orchestra and a guitarist is brought out in addition, as Pollo Dorado II is played to the ring.  The fans pop big as the masked hero walks out, the cruiserweight championship around his waist.  Orville Newton is in tow, holding a towel and a bucket and a wrist watch that he repeatedly adjusts on his skinny arm.  The two make their way down to the ring, slapping hands with fans before getting up inside.  Marvelle and Mandeville Nelson enter the ring behind them.

Nelson moves away from the mic and shouts "come on now!" to someone off camera.  He sighs.

Nelson leaves as Marvelle takes center stage.

An angry roar reverberates around the venue. 

No time for that! Newton is shoved into Dorado, knocking him down.  Mostaza grabs Newton by his collared shirt and throws him down on all fours, quickly lifts him up and back down to the mat with a powerbomb! Dorado is up and on the attack! Dorado's burst is cut off by a knee to the gut from Mostaza, who backs him against the ropes and wallops him with an overhand chop! Dorado nearly doubles over from the pain, but Mostaza gives him little time for recuperation as he Irish whips him across the ring.  Dorado bounces back and ducks the backfist, leaps onto the second rope and soars backwards with a crossbody splash!

2-PUSH OUT!

Dorado is sent a few feet away, but lands rather safely... and dropkicks Mostaza as he attempts to get up! Mostaza angrily storms back to his feet, only to get dropkicked again! The momentum of this dropkick sends Mostaza on his ass and he decides his best course of action is to roll out.  He grabs a fan's bucket of chicken in the front row and snatches a drum stick, taking a big ol' bite of it before throwing it back in and tossing it into their lap! Dorado in the meantime has climbed to the second and third rope, but instead of following up the attack on Mostaza - he's taken notice of Newton being escorted to the back and takes his eye off the prize.  Mostaza rushes in and grabs Dorado by the tights, yanking him backwards off the ropes and onto the mat! Mostaza angrily charges across the ring, hoping to follow up but Dorado slips out of the ring and avoids it. 

Indeed, Mostaza invites Dorado back in and doesn't attack.  They circle and Dorado is cautious, of course, but they lock-up.  Mostaza grabs an easy side headlock, and arrogantly laughs before Dorado swiftly slips out and tries a counter into a top wristlock.  Mostaza's bicep flexes as he works to avoid this, then puts a leg behind Dorado and leans his weight on him - dropping the champion to the mat! Dorado works to get back up almost immediately, but is still trapped in the arm wringer as a result of his top wristlock attempt.  Mostaza backs him into the ropes and knees him in the gut again, but Dorado fires back with a big elbow strike! Mostaza roars and swings back, looking for the knockout but Dorado ducks it and again, leaps onto the second rope but this time he corkscrews into a sunset flip! He grabs Mostaza on the way down and the big man is off balance, but not budging.  Dorado swings his legs up, hooks his heels on Mostaza's hips and heaves forward - bringing the big man down!

MOSTAZA CLAPS DORADO'S HEAD WITH HIS LEGS! 

Dorado rolls away but gets back up quickly, knowing Mostaza will likely be hunting for the kill.  Surprisingly, the challenger is calm and beckons Dorado in for a knuckle lock.  Dorado is reluctant, but raises an arm to match his challenger's... only to be kicked in the gut! Dorado then fires back between pummels, but Mostaza ends that with a bounce of the champion's head off the top rope! Mostaza grabs him, hooks the leg and belly to back suplexes him! With Dorado on the mat, Mostaza gets up and backs into the ropes - bouncing off and picking up speed before leaping up for an elbow drop!

NO ONE HOME!

Dorado rolls out of the way and springs to his feet.  He grabs Mostaza's leg and wraps his leg around, crosses the other over... then turns Mostaza on his stomach and uses his free leg to push the leg toward the head of Mostaza!

Mostaza is too close to the ropes for the hold to have any lasting impact, but the mental aspect might be lingering.  Mostaza gets out of the ring and limps around, buying as much of the count as he can before climbing back up onto the apron.  He demands Dorado be backed up, which Thomas does... then ECM gets inside.  Dorado darts across the ring, blasting him with a leg kick! Mostaza pie faces him and moves out of the corner, away from the danger.  Mostaza takes the middle of the ring and eggs Dorado on, luring him into a side headlock.  Mostaza really cranks it on, prompting Dorado to try and lift his way out of it but that only prompts Mostaza to nail him with a fist! Dorado's body language changes and his off-balance behaviour causes Mostaza to fall back into the ropes.  Thomas calls for a break, but Mostaza wheels him around and drives a knee into Dorado's midsection!

He scoops up the champion and roars, pointing to the mat before driving him down to the mat with a slam! Mostaza pauses, laughs and grabs both of Dorado's arms and drapes them over his chest before officially making the pin.

-DORADO KICKS HIM IN THE HEAD!

Mostaza shakes it off and grabs Dorado as he tries to get up, applying a front chancery.  Mostaza is clearly winded and using this to buy himself some time, but Dorado fights up to his feet and Mostaza can only attempt to hang on as he's backed into a corner.  With the two men in the corner, Thomas calls for a break and Mostaza does, but pushes down on Dorado's head and delivers a forearm smash to the back! Dorado responds by grabbing the big man's leg and hooking it over the middle rope! With Mostaza helpless, Dorado begins kicking it repeatedly - using the entire five count! Thomas holds up a yellow card and then pushes Dorado backwards, Mostaza unhooks himself but Dorado pushes the referee aside and goes back on the attack! Leg kicks!

Indeed, these kicks have to be creating waves on Lake Erie as they're sure doing a number on the challenger! Dorado grabs a leg and attempts a Northern Lights suplex, which Shelzi admires as it's using most of his body to do the work in lifting Mostaza... but Mostaza smashes him down to his knees and executes a snap suplex instead! Mostaza wearily throws his arms back, making a haphazard cover.

2-NO!

Mostaza rolls onto his stomach and then up to his knees, crawling to the ropes.  Orville Newton sprints back down to ringside and begins hammering on the apron, leading fans in a chant...

Dorado's legs slowly begin stomping in syncronization and he brings them and KIPS UP! Dorado hits the ropes and roars right into...

A LARIAT!

Mostaza drills the champion with the lariat, but falls down away from him! The Erie crowd is stunned! Mostaza shakes his head while Dorado is out cold! Newton tries to talk to him, but he's not getting any response!

Mostaza crawls toward Dorado as Newton covers his eyes on the apron.  He drapes an arm over!

NO! FOOT ON THE ROPE!

Newton looks up and jumps for joy! Mostaza sees this and assumes Newton put Dorado's foot on the rope, but a replay clears his name! Mostaza grabs Newton by his mask, but referee Ted Thomas manages to intervene.  Mostaza exits the ring and gives chase, huffing and puffing as he does.  Dorado rolls out on the adjacent side and drops to the floor, but steadies himself! Mostaza comes around and Dorado delivers a dropkick to the knee that sends the big man barrelling forward into the timekeeper's table! The bell sounds, not to conclude the match but just as a testament to how hard Mostaza's noggin must be! The big man raises from the table, mask torn and dripping blood!

The table is sent sideways, Mostaza darts after Dorado who slides back in the ring and challenges him to do the same.  Mostaza does so without hesitation but Dorado jumps on him as soon as he's inside the ring! Thomas intervenes, grabbing Dorado and warning him about another card but Dorado shoves him backwards and continues stomping! Mostaza fights to his feet but retreats to the corner as Thomas recovers and issues a second yellow card, forcibly grabbing Dorado by the waist and pulling him away.  Dorado has lost his cool so badly that he's speaking English to Thomas, but there's no time to register this as Dorado turns back...

AND DUCKS!

THOMAS EATS THE LARIAT FROM MOSTAZA!

The bell sounds but Dorado is right back on attacking Mostaza after he hits the mat, locking him in the Muslos Asados again! Newton quickly acts and succeeds in getting Dorado to release the hold, then tackles Dorado to the mat and holds him in a hug - asking him to calm down! The camera shot turns to Mandeville Nelson holding his ear piece and shaking his head, he whispers to Marvelle who then relays it.

Mostaza rolls out of the ring and starts going on a tear, which prompts Newton to help his confused friend head for safety.  Mostaza gets up in Nelson's face and demands answers, Nelson can't even look him in the eye as the audio is picked up.

The crowd actually pops hearing the thunderous cuss from the big man.  Mostaza can't even think about attacking Nelson as security comes out and holds him back, quickly whisking Nelson away in the process.  AJ Knight gets a pop as he comes out in the entrance aisle, smirking as Nelson gives him a death stare.  Knight then locks eyes with Dorado as the show closes.
