BRIEF HISTORY

Orville Newton has been involved in professional wrestling from an early age, serving as the webmaster for the short-lived Rainbow Pro group when he was only seven years old.  His mother worked as a seamstress, making costumes and masks for the group.  As he often wandered into the locker rooms, Newton was essentially babysat by Lynx who kept himself out of trouble in a new country by practising his English and teaching Newton Spanish.  Lynx and Newton had a wedge driven between them when Los Pollos Excelentes quit Rainbow Pro over a pay dispute and Los Pollos spent a majority of their interactions with young Newton badmouthing Lynx, one of the few fighters to get the better of them inside the ring at that point in time.  Newton made his debut in 2016 in Pollomania but was in no way ready or trained properly, so when Lynx came back into the picture by signing with Lion's Road in 2016 - the two reconnected and Lynx gave Newton his formal training.  Newton however was not permitted to compete in Lion's Road due to an undisclosed health issue, but made shows in the region until 2022 when Pollo Road formed.  Lynx's attention was diverted by his duties as a trainer in the dojo and Newton looked elsewhere for mentorship, finding it with Pollo Dorado II... a reluctant PD2, who only agreed to mentor him because Newton claimed to know who he was under the mask.  He was right.  Under Pollo Dorado II/Matt Pulver, Orville Newton adapted the Mexican style he learned from Lynx to the American-European style he learned from Pulver and has since become a pretty darn good mat technican in his own right. 

SPORTSMANSHIP
Orville is a goody two-shoes.  He abides by the rules and will always release on one, then hold his hand to his heart and raise his right arm to pledge his honour to pro-wrestling... or something. 

RING STYLE

Newton's lankiness allows him to be a difficult foe.  He prefers to ground opponents and chain wrestle them, but can and will suplex and slam if he gets fired up.  He doesn't strike too much, relying solely on palm strikes.
