AJ Knight is one step away from redemption after a brilliant showing in the ROTISSERIE RUMBLE. "The Crusader" emerged victorious in the Rumble and earned himself a shot at the world's cruiserweight champion, Pollo Dorado II. These two fighters will collide on 3/20 in Toronto at SPRING CHICKEN, just ninety eight days removed from their previous encounter in the first round of the HIJO INVITATIONAL. Dorado pinned Knight en route to winning the entire tournament, which led to his own shot at the cruiserweight title that was ultimately successful. Can lightning strike twice for the champion or will the 28 year old challenger avenge his only singles loss in Pollo Road?
El Cerdo Mostaza has challenged Popcorn Pollo to a match. Pollo Road general manager Mandeville Nelson responded quickly, stating that such a match will absolutely not take place. Nelson announced that Mostaza will face Glum on 3/20 at SPRING CHICKEN, but that he is also giving Popcorn Pollo the chance to choose ANYONE to go one on one with Mostaza on 4/17. Who will the littlest Pollo pick to represent him and will Mostaza be able to focus on his match with Glum at SPRING CHICKEN with a mystery looming above 4/17?
After trading pinfalls over the last few months, David Troy and MEZA will finally get the chance to meet mano y mano inside the squared circle. David Troy eliminated MEZA from the world's cruiserweight title decision match at GOLDEN ROAD back in October, then just last month at ROAD WARRIORS - MEZA returned the favour when he scored the pinfall on Troy in a tag team match. This past Monday night saw David Troy eliminate MEZA from the Rotisserie Rumble, but it was this elimination that led to Troy's removal from the match at the hands of AJ Knight. The veteran and the rising young star will battle on 3/20 at SPRING CHICKEN.
As for Kalidah and Red Tiger King? We'll have a bit more about that in the coming days.
