Brief History: (Original Bio) “During the mid-1980s a rare poisonous snake escaped it's crate during it's transportation to the Philadelphia Zoo and made it's way down into the sewers. It came into contact with a barrel of toxic ooze belonging to the scientific research company, TGRI. The ooze caused it to mutate into a more human form, growing arms and legs. Confused by the change the "snake boy" wandered out of the sewers and came in contact with the owner of a sandwich cart, named Alfie Montoya, who inexplicably took him home. The man was an avid fan of both movies and pro wrestling, both passions he very willingly passed onto his new "son". During the day the snake boy, who Alfie named "Philly" after his best selling sandwich, watched hours of vhs tapes, soaking in huge quantities of pop culture. When Alfie would return home the 2 of them would watch whatever new videos Alfie had picked up from the video store and would eat sandwiches.

Years passed and Alfie was able to protect Philly from the outside world but one day a group of men, led by a mysterious six fingered man, broke into the apartment. Alfie was able to hide Philly before the intruders barged in but the snake boy witnessed his father being murdered at the hands of the six fingered man, whose goons then set the apartment on fire to destroy the evidence. Philly escape the fire but was spotted by one of the goons. He was chased to Viking Hall, where he managed to finally evade his pursuers. When the goons tried to push their weight around in the building they themselves were chased off by a group of wrestlers working for Todd Gordon's Eastern Championship Wrestling. Viking Hall, which soon became known as the ECW Arena, gave Philly many good places to hide. He survived the next few years off discarded food thrown in the trash. He was spotted by many of the wrestlers that worked in the building but few believed them since they were often intoxicated when they made the claims. It was during this time that Philly witnessed some of the greatest pro wrestling matches of all time and even after ECW was gone, other promotions soon took it's place.

And that is how Philly was first introduced to CHIKARA. Never did he ever see such a group of interesting looking athletes and he found he could walk among them without fear or second glances. Where as in the past he had to hide in the shadows to watch matches, he was able to sit amongst the fans, who assumed he was just another guy in an outrageous mask. CHIKARA became his favourite promotion and he looked forward to the few occasions each year that they would come to the Arena for their shows. He even managed to befriend some of the competitors in particular Hallowicked and Delirious who taught him how to speak Incoherence and Ophedian, who Philly almost treated like a god because of his serpentine appearance. He was invited to go train at the Wrestle Factory, but in secret because there were still people who were trying to find him.

Philly has never forgotten about the six fingered man. His goal is to track him down someday and get his revenge. Each day he imagines confronting him and say, "My name is Philly Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die!”

(What you need to know) Philly joined 101 Colony and began teaming with True North Ant. The two would find success winning the Campeonatos de Parejas in the 101 Colony, as well as individually winning the 101 24/7 Hardcore Title on multiple occasions. With the closing of that company, however, the pair struggled in their next home company, Pollomania Lucha Libre. Soon after Philly suffered a back injury and announced he was going to retire, however, his injuries were worsened when True North Ant turned on him and put him through a table.

Unable to compete but not wanting to give up working in the industry, Philly put on a new mask and became Pollomania (and later Pro-Wrestling Grand Prix’s) first masked referee. He struggled as an official and often made poor decisions, leading to tension between him and True North Ant (who was unaware of who the masked ref really was). This led to a confrontation, where Philly was forced to defend himself and reveal to his former partner who rhe really was. A war would follow between the the two of them, which Philly won, and fate would push the two former best friends back together as they found a common enemy and eventually, behind the scenes, reconciled and became partners once more. With Philly once again at his side the pair would go on to win both the Pro-Wrestling Grand Prix International Tag Team Team Championships, as well as the Maple Leaf Wrestling Alliance Tag Team Tites, unifying both sets of titles in the process. Philly, much like his tag team partner, hopes they will be able to translate their recent success to Rainbow Pro, where they’re hoping to have a lot of fun and win a lot of gold.
