Lynx and MEZA are the most often talked about teacher/student team in Pollo Road, but there is a second - Jin Hirai and Crazy Boy. In fact, the two teams battled on the Pollo Bucket 19th Anniversary Special with MEZA pinning Crazy to earn some bragging rights.
Despite being winless thus far in Pollo Road, Hirai and Crazy have slowly begun to attract a fan following due to their aesthetic - vibrant red, yellow and green - and their interesting repertoire inside the ring. At 36 years old, Jin Hirai's days as the ZERO-G have dwindled and the Japanese-Jamaican fighter has taken a more unorthodox approach inside the ring using dancing and lots of trash talk to throw his opponents off their game. However, his high-flying skills and knowledge are alive and well in the 25 year old Crazy Boy - appropriately named for his daredevil antics. While CB doesn't quite have the confidence that Hirai has in smack talk, he makes up for it in the aforementioned high-flying which gives their tandem an interesting dynamic. That being said, both fighters agree that there is still work to be done.
The first step is to reveal a third member on 11/14 in Las Vegas.
