Mandeville Nelson greeted the press following the conclusion of the GOLDEN ROAD event.
- He started off by congratulating Reo Ojima on becoming the first ever World's Cruiserweight Champion. He said that Ojima still isn't sold on the Cruiserweight thing, but Nelson believes they can work it out.
- David Troy was taken to the hospital, but the only update that he could give the press was that it's not a serious injury.
- Credits MEZA with a star making performance, submitting Takashi Shinobu with a slew of Japanese press present. Jokes that as a result of that and Ojima as champion, they'll have to run an event in Japan soon.
- Confirms the signing of Eron Hunter, former World's Junior Heavyweight Champion in Maximum Japan Pro-Wrestling. Notes that Hunter wrestled as Lynx in MAX, but the Lynx here in Pollo Road and Hunter are not one in the same - "look at the height difference".
- Also confirms the signing of "Mr. Canada" Eddy Kanata, a bright young cruiserweight from Quebec.
- Would not answer when Pollo Dorado II would be debuting.
- Noted that next month's event will take place on November 14th in Las Vegas at the Royal Rock Casino & Resort.
- Nelson's phone went off six times during the course of the press conference. After the sixth, Nelson stated that Luke Marshall was responsible for it and is absolutely adamant about a rematch with MEZA.
- Thanked everyone for coming and making it a great event.
