The Australian born Luke Marshall has been eerily quiet since his tapout submission loss to MEZA on 9/19 in Milwaukee, but the silence was broken late last night when Marshall issued a challenge for 10/17's GOLDEN ROAD event in Minneapolis, Minnesota. No, he didn't want in the title match. No, he didn't want MEZA. He wanted Lynx, MEZA's mentor and coach of the PR Dojo.
Lynx didn't take long to respond to challenge, offering comments by email. He said that he understands Marshall's frustration, noting that no one enjoys submitting but that it's necessary for longevity. He warned Marshall not to treat his elders with disrespect because Luke's exposed a weakness in his game already, but now he has to face the teacher rather than the student.
