8/28/2022 - Pollo Bucket 19th Anniversary Special

Some whistles and recognition for the wild looking newcomer. 

Hirai takes center stage in the middle of the ring and busts out some breakdancing to a pop.

The fans give a warm welcome to the newcomer.

The veteran member of the team simply waves in response to the crowd.

Jin Hirai will start out with MEZA as the bell sounds.  The two men lock-up, Hirai takes the youngster down with a lightning fast arm drag, both men pop up about the same time but Hirai shows off his dancing skills.  MEZA looks at Lynx, who says something the mics don't pick up.  MEZA tells Hirai to come on and they lock-up again, Hirai tries to repeat the arm drag but gets blocked.  MEZA fires off one of his one and as Zero-G gets back to his feet, he sees MEZA busting a move.  Lynx looks at the crowd and shakes his head, but they love it (Maggle)! Hirai also shakes his head, but he's a lot more fired up about this then anyone else.  They lock-up a third time and Hirai storms the kid into the corner, Crazy Boy lifts his arms in the air to show the referee that he isn't interfering in the action.  Hirai wallops MEZA with a knife edge chop, then a second, then a third.  Referee Ted Thomas' count reaches four, so Hirai backs off but tries to go right back in.  Thomas gets in between and forces Hirai to back up, but this small opening allows MEZA to be choked with the tag rope! Lynx tries to alert Thomas, but Hirai turns and slaps him! 

With action restored to a degree, Crazy Boy relents and kicks MEZA's foot out from underneath him.  He falls down into a seated position in the corner and Hirai comes running in with a Bronco Buster! MEZA tries to fight the crotch out of his face, as Hirai makes a tag.  Crazy Boy comes in and Hirai rolls backwards out of the way just as a dropkick finds the mark! Crazy grabs MEZA up out of the corner and Irish whips him into the ropes.  He drops down, attempting to trip him up and does... but MEZA recovers with a front handspring.  Angry about being shown up, Crazy charges MEZA who ducks in behind and applies a rear waist hold.  Crazy doesn't budge, so MEZA shoves forward and tries for an O'Connor Roll, but CB hangs onto the rope and MEZA crashes to the mat by himself.  Crazy Boy leaps up onto the second rope...

QUEBRADA!

The moonsault connects just as MEZA is back on his feet, bringing both men down into a pin.

2-KICK OUT!

MEZA shows off some technical skill by grabbing the arm from the bottom, rolling out into a grounded hammerlock.  Crazy Boy reaches out for the ropes, but MEZA has full control of where he can and cannot go.  CB fights to his knees, all three available points of contact on the mat.  MEZA quickly swaps, jumping on his back to flatten him out and applies a cloverleaf hold.  Hirai's in quick to rescue his younger partner and use up his save in this match.  MEZA backs off and tags in Lynx, who allows Crazy Boy to get to his feet.

Lynx and Crazy lock-up, but a quick lucha style single leg puts CB on the mat.  Lynx tries for a toe hold, but is kicked off and sent back as Crazy kips up.  Lynx nods in respect and circles again.  They go for a lock-up once more, but CB gets the drop toe hold.  He does a front roll and stomps the back of Lynx's head, prompting Jin Hirai's "OH SHIT!" reaction on the apron.  Lynx looks up, not too impressed by the move.  Crazy Boy motions him to come on, so Lynx gets up at a leisurely pace and CB is none too happy about this.  He grabs Lynx, who responds with a chest slap.  Even through the fabric of the top CB has on, the smack is wince inducing and doubles him over.  Lynx pushes Crazy Boy against the ropes and whips him out.  On the rebound, Lynx leaps up and wraps his legs around Crazy Boy's neck and headscissors him... but CB pushes up on Lynx's hip/stomach to create some distance and drops down to the mat, bringing the veteran fighter down across his knees!

Lynx rolls away clutching his stomach.  Crazy Boy is slow to follow up, holding his knees in pain.  However, he fights through it and slaps hands with Hirai and the two gather up Lynx and look to use the ten seconds as best they can.  Lynx gets double suplexed to the mat, then the duo deliver stereo sentons across the upper and lower body! MEZA slaps the top turnbuckle as CB rolls out, trying to rally the fans.  Hirai dances along to the claps in support of Lynx, mocking the endeavour completely.  He then begins stomping in time with the claps, then grows tired of it and pulls Lynx up by his mask.  He chucks his fellow veteran wrestler down across the middle rope and calls for a tiger feint kick.  He runs in, but connects with nothing but air as Lynx scrambles to make the tag! MEZA comes in with some fanfare and dodges an attack, planting Hirai with a floatover DDT! Hirai rolls out, prompting an automatic tag and CB is ready.  He comes charging in, but his kick is caught and MEZA dragon whips him.  MEZA charges and leaps onto the second rope, coming back with a backwards diving senton... or a Coffin drop.  Crazy Boy is taken out and rolls out of the ring!

He grabs the top rope and slingshots himself over into a crossbody plancha, taking out both members! He grabs Crazy Boy and rolls him back inside, stomping on Hirai before climbing back in himself.  MEZA grabs Crazy Boy like he's doing an abdominal stretch, but raises his arm and...

FLIPS FORWARD!

The two men crash into the mat, a pin is made!

MEZA rolls up to his knees, raising his arms.  He hugs Lynx, who pulls him to his feet and raises his arm himself.  Hirai is on the outside, disappointed with the outcome of the match while Crazy Boy's a bit disoriented to say the least. 

"The Real Man" by the Seatbelts invades the venue, the intro providing a foreboding sense of danger as Reo Ojima, Darkness Tigre and Luke Marshall all walk out from the back.

Marshall sneers in response to his announcement and the fans return it in kind.

Tigre puts his hands on his hips and puffs up to his chest, but only earns boos which dismisses with the wave of his hand.

Ojima has no such time for antics and simply proceeds into the ring and warms up as the partners jog around the ring.  Tigre and Marshall meet on the opposite side and do a fist bump, nodding in response to each other's chatter.

"Same Ol'" by the Heavy hits to a big pop! The fans keep the cheers alive as Ultimo Pollo IV bounces out first, Red Tiger King walks out with a purpose and there's a dramatic pause as David Troy pushes aside the curtain and throws up his arms. 

Hometown pop.

Pollo has already rushed down the aisle, slapping hands with fans on one side of the aisle... but charges back up to the entrance and then jogs down the other side to slap hands.

RTK is a bit more stoic in his entrance, but he does slap a hand or two on his way down to the ring.

Troy can't hide a smile at the announcement, then tells the camera - "I'm home!"

Thomas raises a hand to acknowledge his announcement as the six man are all now inside the ring.

The bell sounds to begin the bout.  Darkness Tigre starts for his team, opposite the Red Tiger King.  The two meet in the middle of the ring and trade some words as Ultimo Pollo IV calls for the fans to make some noise.  Tigre slaps RTK who responds by pushing right against him.  RTK uses his size to back Tigre into the ropes and the two continue trading words as referee Tubby Thomas intervenes with his five count.  He makes it to three before a clean break occurs, Tigre walks a circle around RTK who stands in the dead centre of the ring.  RTK invites him to lock-up and Tigre nods in response, then goes in to lock-up... but pokes Tiger in the eye! Thomas waves his arms and pulls out a yellow card, Tigre grabs his belly and gives a hearty laugh as he points at RTK holding his eye.  It's RTK who gets the last laugh though as he blasts Darkness Tigre to the shadow realm with a lariat! Tigre gets back up in a hizzy...

ARM DRAG!

Tigre gets up again, not quite knowing where he's at and walks right into...

SPINNING HEEL KICK!

Tigre goes down and rolls out the ring, forcing an automatic tag.  RTK backs up and tags in David Troy, but the opponents take their time deciding their next move.

David Troy rushes toward the ropes, but drops to his knees - faking the dive.  However, Ultimo Pollo IV comes running up behind him and leaps off Troy's back and somersaults through the air - landing on both Ojima and Tigre! Luke Marshall narrowly avoiding the carnage.  Marshall gets in the ring and gets in Troy's face.

Troy swings with a low kick, but Marshall checks it and backs up to keep his range.  Troy employs his traditional kickboxing stance, Marshall attempts to find an opening.  Marshall gets baited by a feint and Troy swiftly attacks the leg with a kick, delivering a faster paced drop toe hold.  He floats over into a front chancery, then turns it into a grounded side headlock.  Marshall attempts to get on all fours and fight back to his feet, but Troy twists his body and puts pressure down on him to flatten him back out.  He wrenches back, earning a grunt from Marshall on the mat as his body contorts to the hold.  Troy releases the hold and spins back to the legs, standing up and stomping on the calves.  Marshall rolls underneath the bottom rope and hits the floor, Troy goes to give chase but falls to his knees as he remembers the automatic tag.  Reo Ojima comes sauntering in, all surly like.  Troy stands up, giving him some respect as the two walk to the centre of the ring. 

Ojima elbows Troy, dropping him to a knee.  Ojima smirks, but Troy stands back up and launches a kick into the midsection.  Ojima absorbs it, but his eyes tell just how bad it hurt.  He swings for another elbow, but Troy ducks it and begins battering the Japanese veteran with alternating leg and body kicks.  Troy gets him against the ropes and slaps on a headlock, he tries to run forward for a bulldog but Ojima blocks it...

BACKDROP SUPLEX!

Troy hits with a thud and rolls out to the floor.  Ultimo Pollo IV sees his opening and dashes to the middle of the apron, he grabs the top rope and waits for Ojima to get back up...

SPRINGBOARD CROSSBODY!

Ojima goes down, Ultimo quickly gets back up and bounces in anticipation...

DROPKICK!

Despite being off balance, Ojima manages to fall back against the ropes and keeps himself on his feet.  Ultimo charges at him, but Ojima ducks it and Ultimo goes up and over! As close as you'd come to a disqualification for an over the top rope throw, but Ultimo hangs onto the top rope and clocks Ojima with a palm strike - a Cock Slap if you will.  Ojima staggers back, Ultimo tries a slingshot shoulder tackle but Ojima...

CLOCKS HIM IN THE FACE! BIG RIGHT HAND!

Ultimo goes down in a heap, Ojima looks around - then locks eyes with Red Tiger King and slices his thumb across his throat.  He pulls Ultimo to his feet with a rear waist hold, deadlifting him into a German suplex! He holds the bridge!

3-BROKEN UP BY RTK!

Ojima sees who made the save and raises his eyebrows. 

Ojima questions RTK, who doesn't back down.  Ojima stands up as Pollo struggles to roll out, Tiger dropkicks Ojima in the knee and the veteran fighter yells out in Japanese as he falls down.  RTK bounces off the ropes and dropkicks Ojima in the back, sending him lunging forward and face first into the mat.  The Tiger King pounces, grabbing an arm for la magistral!

KICK OUT!

Tiger pulls Ojima up to a vertical base and backs him into the corner, he peppers him with a couple elbow shots and then jumps up, planting his feet in the thigh/hip area and attempts to monkey flip Ojima.  A hard chest slap sends Tiger down to the mat, but ever resilient he gets back up and attempts a hurracanrana.

OJIMA POWERBOMBS HIM!

Ojima falls back into the corner as RTK writhes in pain on the mat, but rolls onto his side and tries to get back up.  Ojima charges forth, booting him in the face! RTK goes down again, but Ojima is pissed now! He grabs RTK's mask, ripping it as he yanks him up and slaps him repeatedly.  He finishes it off with a discus lariat - One Thousand Cuts! He covers!

KICK OUT!

Troy lands on top, a second too late but it's the thought that counts.  Ojima grabs Troy and wallops him with a slap, Troy winces but returns the favour.  Ojima looks unimpressed and stands up, demanding another one.  Troy gives it to him, Ojima's face eats it but the Stone Gargoyle doesn't move.  Troy shrugs and grabs him in a clinch, knees to the head.  Ojima is understandably a little more concerned about this as RTK finally rolls out at Thomas' eight count for Troy to return to the corner.  Troy slaps on a side headlock, spins around into a hammerlock and then drops him with a toe hold to complete the Kazama Special.  He pops up, hits the ropes and baseball slides a dropkick into Ojima's face! Troy gets up and calls for the Rough Divide as Ojima is getting up on all fours, but Darkness Tigre pops up on the apron and grabs Troy in a choke! Troy tries to fight out of it, but Tigre uses that and drops him throat first across the top rope! He stumbles back...

NOPE!

SPEAR!

A Freight Train runs through the three time King of Lions Champion and "The New" Luke Marshall smiles like a bastard about it, then pulls Troy up to his feet...

PILEDRIVER!

He covers!

FOOT ON THE ROPE!

Marshall looks at Thomas, who points to the evidence.  He yanks it off the rope and tries again.

2-Ultimo slaps him from outside the ring!

Marshall gets up and tries to grab a hold of Ultimo's mask and actually gets a piece of it, enough that Ultimo can't get anywhere.  UP4 tries slapping him a couple times with palm strikes, but it's an uppercut that breaks the grip.  Troy, a veteran opportunist, cradles the stunned Marshall with a school boy!

KICK OUT!

Marshall's powerful legs make the pin the wrong choice, sending Troy into the ropes.  Ultimo and Troy switch, with the former champion going to the outside for an automatic tag.  Ultimo climbs the turnbuckles, then leaps off as Marshall turns around...

SPINNING HEEL KICK!

Marshall goes down and rolls out.  Ultimo is on all fours as Tigre charges in and drops a knee on the back of his head! Darkness Tigre gets up and cackles, "POLLO SCUM!" which gets some boos.  Tigre seems inspired by the reaction, Ultimo is now face up and Tigre plants his knee against his face and flexes.  The crowd boos more and Tigre smiles wide.  RTK comes in and attacks him from behind! He grabs Tigre in a front chancery and kicks off the ropes...

TORNADO DDT!

Ojima slides into the ring as Tiger is running into the ropes...

SPINEBUSTER!

Ojima stands up, shouting in Japanese as he looks down at RTK.  He's spun around...

INVERTED STOMP!

Troy's Sole Food variation sends Ojima down to the mat.  Troy gets u--

BICYCLE KNEE STRIKE FROM MARSHALL!

Troy drops to his knees just as quickly as he got up.  Marshall taunts the crowd, but Ultimo Pollo dropkicks him from behind - sending him out of the ring.  Ultimo gets to his feet and begins clapping, signalling for a dive and hits the ropes. 

TIGRE INTERCEPTS HIM!

BLUE THUNDER BOMB - DT BOMB '03!

He holds it!

As Tigre is celebrating, Marshall and Ojima join him in getting their arms raised.  There's some chatter among the rudos about... something, but the camera mics aren't picking it up.  Marshall and Tigre begin stomping on Pollo, while Ojima just watches.  RTK comes in to help, but Marshall takes care of him.  Troy gets up, but this prompts Ojima to intercept.  Tigre begins loosening the strings on Pollo's mask...

MEZA!

LYNX!

The winners from earlier slide into the ring and MEZA barrels over Tigre, while Lynx grabs Marshall by his hair and hammers him with forearm shots! Ojima and Troy continue brawling, but Tigre takes off down the aisle leaving his team behind.  Marshall has to fight his way out of the ring to safety, cursing the entire way.  Security works to break up the continued brawl that has spilled outside the ring, but inside the ring Lynx is attending to Ultimo Pollo while MEZA is inviting the rudos to return to the ring.
