AJ Knight and Drew Dream are keeping it interesting! Both men got a W in tonight's matches, putting them at 9 and 10 points respectively heading into their showdown on 5/28 in Shawinigan. Knight paid tribute to frenemy and protege Ben Chrenshaw by using his signature submission hold on Joey Bailey, earning him the tapout victory. On the other side of things, Owen Daniels pushed Drew Dream the entire match like a man possessed. Dream escaped by scoring the pinfall with a tight small package just fifteen seconds before the time limit was set to expire. Daniels has been having great showings throughout the tournament, but has just been unable to end the matches in his favour. A draw would not have put Dream in bad territory, but the win gives him a one point cushion on AJ Knight and should AJ beat him on Thursday, it's only a single point lead - so no lead is secure just yet.
Harry Black came back off his loss to Drew Dream and handed Justin Seville a loss, spiking him with his Blacklist DDT. The English born brawler was walking to the back when Seville attacked him from behind and rammed him into the guardrail, Black recovered and tried to counter attack but security and officials kept the two men apart.
The old saying goes that two wrongs do not make a right and that applied to tonight's tag match. You'll recall that Strange Brew and Masked Hysteria's first meeting ended after #2 kicked True North Ant in the groin. Well, Strange Brew made it known that they're willing to fight fire with fire and tonight that came back to bite them. After referee Darnell Cane missed an automatic tag from Hysteria, #2 tried to get lightning to strike twice on Ant with a groin kick. Unfortunately for him, Ant caught the kick and with Cane seemingly tied up in forcing #1 back to the corner - Ant drilled him between the legs. However, Cane turned around just in time to see what had happened and disqualified the fan favourites to a chorus of boos!
