Introduction
Alberta's Dusty Strauss welcomes us with a big smile to the very first edition of Saturday Night Story! With empty outdoor bleachers behind him, he stands with microphone in hand as Pierre the Masked Canuck jogs into the scene and drops to his knee, catching his breath. He mutters in French before standing up and greeting Strauss in English, Strauss tells viewers that Pierre has been running laps for roughly half an hour on this brisk spring day. Pierre nods, composes himself and adds that he wasn't happy with his matches this past week as he went 0-2 alongside Felix Bingham. He puts Felix over, saying "The Cat" has come a long way since he first arrived at the Lion's Road Dojo in early 2018 and is slowly but surely adding weight to his frame. Bingham got caught with a heel hook on Tuesday night, but says that happens to the best of us especially against a tandem as dangerous in the submission game as Shigeru Toyama and Marc Boisvert.

1. Shigeru Toyama & Marc Boisvert beat Pierre the Masked Canuck & Felix Bingham in 12:03 when Toyama submitted Bingham with a heel hook.
The Cat, Felix Bingham has Marc Boisvert in a bear hug but eats some 12-6 elbows and is forced to relinquish the hold. Boisvert goes to make the tag to Shigeru Toyama, but Starboy points and yells... so Boisvert pivots, then rushes to the corner to blast Pierre the Masked Canuck off the apron. Bingham was mere inches from the tag! Boisvert grabs Felix in a front chancery and hauls him into enemy territory. Toyama tags himself in and cockily slaps the youngster, trying to antagonize him. Felix fires up and Toyama begs off, but it's all a ruse as a flying heel hook catches the big man by surprise and he's forced to quickly submit.
Back to Strauss on location at the Fairgrounds
Shigeru Toyama and Marc Boisvert are now standing with Strauss, who introduces the pair and recaps a bit of each man's history. Toyama is from Japan, eight year veteran and now wrestling full-time in Canada while Boisvert is Quebec's very own! A former MMA fighter with a 13-5 record looking to transition into pro-wrestling. Boisvert begins to speak French, addressing his Quebec fans and hopes they'll continue to support him on his journey into pro-wrestling. Toyama-san has taken him under his wing despite being six years younger and says they have meshed well. He switches to English and says he won't repeat what he said because English fans don't deserve to know if they don't speak and understand French. Toyama then takes over and shows off his English, laughing about how well Felix Bingham fell into the trap. "All brawn, no brain!" he says, causing both partners to cackle. Strauss suggests they take a look at the match between the two of them, Joey Bailey & JT Sheppard. Toyama disagrees and asks to see Devon Moore's match against Kid Ego, admitting he was very impressed by what he was able to see.

Dusty Strauss is very impressed by the height on the bicycle knee, informing viewers that Devon Moore is a large junior heavyweight at 6'4" and 187lbs. He wonders if the lightning quick striking offense and the reach advantage will give the junior division fits. He concludes by saying that hopes to be able to talk to "The Straight Bullet" in the coming weeks.

3. Drew Dream beat Kid Ego by tapout submission in 6:21 with a Fujiwara armbar.
Ego is once again in control, opting to twist Dream's arm before deciding to climb the turnbuckles. He has to readjust his grip before trying to rope walk, but in short order Dream yanks him off the top and slaps on the Fujiwara armbar for a quick submission! Following the tap, Dream got up to celebrate his victory but noticed Ego recovering in the midst of it. He produced a lollipop from... well, I don't really know... and offered it to Ego, who slapped it away! He shouted something to the effect of not being able to enjoy it due to his mask not having a mouth hole. Dream politely responded that he didn't have to throw it and went to collect it, dumping it in a ringside rubbish bin before skipping off to the back.

Kid Ego is with Strauss
He's furious! Ego begins making excuses - claiming that the ropes were wet and caused him to lose his balance. Strauss wonders what happened in the match vs. Devon Moore, Ego pauses... then says Moore's English and that his bad breath was affecting his ability to keep the side headlock applied. He's appalled that he was let into the country without a toothbrush, then offers to take him to the store to buy one. Strauss shakes his head and tells the viewers we'll see the pairing known as Strange Brew in action after the break!

5. True North Ant & Philly Cheese Snake beat Joey Bailey & JT Sheppard in 18:27 when Snake pinned Sheppard following an avalanche-style cobra clutch suplex
True North Ant has a front chancery applied on Joey Bailey, keeping him right where he wants him as he wrenches it in. Bailey tries to reach out for a tag, but TNA snatches him into his own corner and tags in Philly Cheese Snake. PCS comes in and tries to ground Bailey, but this proves to be a mistake as Bailey manages to get free and transitions into a grounded hammerlock. PCS fights back to his feet despite Bailey still having his arm, tries reaching for TNA's outstretched hand but Bailey pulls him away and wrings the arm. He delivers a knee to the straightened arm, then grabs Snake as he tries to stagger away - smashing his head off the top turnbuckle and tags in JT Sheppard. Sheppard leaps over the top rope to get into the ring, grabs Snake and scoop slams him onto the mat. He raises his arm and heads up top, then patiently waits for Snake to get back up to a vertical base...
MISSILE DRO-NO ONE HOME!
Snake dodges it and grabs Sheppard from behind, lifting him back up onto the top turnbuckle. He climbs up to the middle rope and applies a cobra clutch, TNA applauds as Snake suplexes him from the top rope! He rolls over to make the cover... Ant comes in, blocking Bailey's attempt to break it up and Strange Brew picks up their second win! All three of of Bailey, Ant and Snake check on Sheppard, making sure he's OK before he gets up and the four exchange handshakes.

Dusty loves the sportsmanship displayed. He's joined in the final segment again by Pierre, but also Joey Bailey. Bailey jabs him about beating him, but Pierre chalks it up to hockey withdrawal. Bailey isn't too sure that's got anything to do with it, but Pierre interrupts him and asks him why all this says Rainbow Pro? "That's my school, this is my fed!" and goes on to say his accountants are confused. Bailey thinks Rainbow Pro is a fine name for both of them, but Pierre isn't so sure. They ask Strauss, who shrugs then asks Pierre about a rumour... Pierre shushes him, saying the negotiations are still ongoing... but hopes that he brings some chocolate when he comes over from Europe.
Strauss is left to wonder, but introduces a video package before bidding us adieu for the week.
Hype Package
Masked Hysteria is shown, #1 and #2 reeking havoc in the Universal Wrestling League where they have been United States Tag Team Champions since October. A final graphic notes they'll be in action Sunday and Tuesday night with highlights of their debut matches being shown on next week's program.
