Although Cordero has never been directly involved in professional wrestling himself, he is the brother of the late Eduardo Cordero - a star of the Mexican scene in the 1990s that tragically passed away inside the squared circle. His nephews, Rio and Esix Cordero are two names that longtime fans of the Great Lakes wrestling scene may be familiar with as they competed in Pro-Wrestling Spirit/Lion's Road in 2006. Rio would retire in 2008 after only a couple years in the sport, while Esix continued to dabble before transitioning into a career in mixed martial arts.
