The scene opens and standing in the centre of the frame is the man dubbed to be "The Golden Ace" within the industry, Takashi Shinobu. He stands in the centre of a wrestling ring, more specifically - in the complex used for his stable, the Heroes for Hire - which is also imprinted on the ring canvas.
Sweat slivers down his body after a rigorous work-out, with his hands on his hips, he exhales calmly, not paying attention to the camera as his manager and agent, Gregory Murphy, lingers onto the scene. Murphy is holding all of Takashi's gold from various promotions - five in total, making him look drippy as hell in his dark Grey suit and tie.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, the Heroes for Hire; are at your service. And The Golden Ace is about to become the Ace of Pollo Road."
A grin appears on the face of Murphy, stretching from one ear to the other as he clasps his hands together in excitement.
"David Troy has seen it all and done it, completed the tale and now bears the stories from it. It's no secret that he's already delivered on the grandest stages, when it's mattered most. It's well documented, and I know that he'll feel that his time isn't over yet, he's already feeling his resurgence - and he'll hope to put it into fruition against The Golden Ace..."
Murphy pauses, shaking his head sideways as he smirks, arrogantly.
"David Troy resembles the past, particularly here in Pollo Road and he'll hope to relive some of his past glory and acclaim but I'm here to tell him now, that those days are over. Those days at the top of the mountaintop, they're done for and now he has to worry about the new generation that's rising, with The Golden Ace at the helm of it all, the current five time champion in various promotions right now... and that World Cruiserweight Championship, it's in his sights, don't you worry about that... the critically acclaimed David Troy, will be the first to fall in his conquest to greatness!"
As Murphy finishes his sentence, he lingers into the background allowing Shinobu to take the center spot, calm and relaxed and his eyes fixate on the camera.
"Luck and fate, it's all the same thing for me. I know I'm coming into this bout as the underdog, but I believe that it works best for me. I thrive under the pressure, and coming up against an opponent like you Troy, is pressure like no other - but I'm prepared to rise the occasion, and continue proving why I'm one of the best in the world.
I've been proving it all year round, no matter the promotion - and now I'm wanting to prove it here, on another stage, a different platform. I don't just want to elevate myself, I want to elevate this promotion - lead it as a pioneer for the next generation and if that means getting rid of the old one, then so be it!"
Shinobu clenches his fist, allowing a smile to etch onto his face.
"I don't dislike you, Troy. I barely even know you, but I know of your career and the fact that you've done things, things people can only dream of... the fact is, I've accomplished just as much in as little time, and with the Shinobu name growing, it's only up from here. I've been down, down in the pits of despair and I know what it feels like to be powerless... to feel as if your career is going nowhere. I decided on that day that I wasn't going to allow myself to be there anymore, I was gonna claw my way out of that pit and I did. I made it out alive and came out as The Dragon's Curse, and ever since then, I haven't looked back. It doesn't matter who's put in front of me, they get put down and shut up, all the same.
Sooner or later, the world will know that The Dragons Curse is a force to be reckoned with, and when they understand that, they'll know that no one can stop me. Not even you, Troy. The King of the Lions... former king, that is but now there's a new prince on the block, ready to be proclaimed as a king and when that happens, the world will rejoice."
The scene gradually fades.
